Friendship Night

At our second Friendship Night of the year, Sisters and Brothers from all 10 chapters in our Northern San Joaquin Association visited Wistaria to share in food, fun, and great ritual work. Again, we are blessed!!!

Deputy Grand Matron's Official Visit

A full core of officers as well as sideliners were on hand to enjoy the evening of District #15's Official Visit of the Deputy Grand Matron...good food, lots of fun, and great Ritual work!

Lavender Tea Fundraiser

This one-of-a-kind fundraiser allowed Wistaria members and guests to share lavender tea, lavender cookies, and tea sandwiches while enjoying the company of alpacas at Macedo's Mini Acre in Turlock. What fun it was to watch the alpacas, two of which were babies, roam and sometimes romp through the pasture where we were enjoying our luncheon. Some dropped by our tables for a visit, while others waited for us to go visit them for petting or feeding. WHAT FUN! Our hosts shared information about the alpacas and their sustainable ranching in Turlock ... then we visited their local store to find can't-live-without alpaca goodies. To top of the event all ticket sales + 10% of the store's sales were designated to the support of Wistaria's Philanthropic Projects for Kids.

Note: Numerous national awards received by the Macedo alpacas are in background

Murder on the Orient Express

Wistaria members and guests shared costumes and laughter, and raised funds for the Chapter's charitable projects at a 1930's-themed evening at the movies. For a small entry fee guests were able to find one-of-a-kind items in a silent auction that was held before the main presentation and during intermission. We were pleased that our concession stand was such a hit. This was our first theater event, and we were very grateful that teamwork made the evening fun and successful. The net proceeds were the same amount as our gross receipts since several members stepped up to cover all of the expenses ... thank you to our amazing and generous Wistaria members!

Do you mean it?

When you have a Sister or Brother in need, and you tell them to reach out to you if you can be of assistance, do you really mean it? We are so blessed that when one of our Sisters was unable to meet a commitment she had made that a Wistaria member stepped in to Pay Goodness Forward and baked 40 dozen cookies for her.

Rootin' Tootin' Good Time Social

Fun and fellowship was on the menu as Wistaria members gathered together with friends, new and old, to enjoy root beer floats, hot dogs, and games for the young and old ... the evening was filled with laughter.
